  1. Hi Laura, I' m affraid I won't be attending classes today, since I' m not feeling weel, here is our retelling (Micaela Carrasco and mine), next class we'll hand it in, see you, Fernanda

Jane is my next door neighbour. She is a middle age, extrovert woman who loves traveling. Last summer, she had the opportunity to travel abroad and took a trip to Spain. She spent a wonderful time there. As days went by, she realized how cheap things were and kept on buying more and more things. She was so excited, that she bought extra gifts for her relatives and friends. She had made all her calculations carefully and paid for everything with her credit card. Sooner, she would find out that things were not as she had thought. The first problem was at customs, when returning home. There she was asked to pay a tax for the extra luggage. Even though she was a little upset, she paid it without complaining. Noting would spoil her fantastic trip. Some days after her arrival, she organized a get together in order to hand out all the presents she had bought. The party was going on really well until she received a phone call from the Bank, saying that she did not have enough money to cover her debts. At that moment, she learnt that the government charged a tax for goods bought abroad.
